Mediterranean tuna is a particular species of tuna that populates the Mediterranean Sea off eastern Sicily, mainly on the coast of Syracuse and on islands such as Favignana FAO area 37. The particularity of its prized meat is due to the cleanliness of the waters where it lives and feeds and the tapered muscles that allow it to reach 100 km per hour despite a size of about 700 kg on average, and a length of about 3 meters.

Rich in proteins and noble substances that play an important role in cardiac protection, the Mediterranean tuna produced by Adelfio di Marzamemi is processed immediately after fishing, its meat selected and canned in olive oil. We offer it in tins and jars as fillets, belly, bottarga, buzzonaglia, for every taste requirement and suitable for any gastronomic process.
