The sweet almonds paste is a sicilian specialty and it
came from the union of marzipan with almonds.
It is used almost exclusively as a base for sweet or dissolved in water, in proportion to 125 grams (4,24 Oz.) per Lt.1 of water, to create the "milk of almond" typical Sicilian refreshing drink, or base for the Sicilian granita and almonds ice cream.

the product as per the label affixed on the packaging, from the

Ingredients: Sugar, peeled almonds 20%, glucose syrup, invert sugar, preservatives: potassium sorbate, flavorings.
